If
you’re just seeing Little Cayman as a day tripper, consider a guided excursion
with an island local. An overview of Little Cayman’s attractions is available
through Island Air and local guide Chip McCoy. The package includes round-trip
air, an island tour by car, snorkeling along Bloody Bay Wall, and lunch at
uninhabited Owen’s Island. The cost is US $170. Contact Island Air (%
345-949-5252).
The
island has over eight miles of paved roads, but you’ll find that the unpaved
sections are passable on mountain bikes. Many of the accommodations include free
use of bicycles, but rentals are available at McLaughlin’s Enterprises, Little
Cayman Beach Resort, Pirates Point, and Paradise Villas.
