Getting Around
If you plan to move around while on this end of the island, you'll want a car. Taxi service is available, but rates from West Bay down to other parts of the island are not cheap. A taxi from Spanish Bay Reef Resort on the far north side of West Bay to the airport area of George Town runs $27, one way.
Walking and bicycling are other good options in this region. With quiet, neighborhood streets throughout much of this section, you'll find good opportunities for foot and pedal power.
